PESHAWAR, Nov 24: Most of the Pakistani prisoners who were released by the Afghan government from the Kabul jail on Sunday belong to Frontier.

A list shows that 12 out of 30 belong to the NWFP, nine are from Sindh and the remaining are from the other parts of the country.

Most of them are in their 20s and 30s and suffering from various diseases including tuberculosis, renal and respiratory.

The prisoners are now in the Central Jail Peshawar, awaiting investigations by the Joint Interrogation Team (JIT).
