PESHAWAR, Nov 23: NWFP Governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah approved 30 per cent decrease in the fee structure of the newly-established universities and directed the authorities concerned to make efforts to further bring down the fee.

He was presiding over a meeting at Governor’s House on Saturday to review the fee structure of the new universities. The meeting was attended by the vice-chancellors of Hazara and Malakand universities, secretary higher education Tariq Jameel, secretary finance Ziaur Rehman and additional secretary to governor Sikandar Qayyum.

The meeting also reviewed progress on the infrastructure development projects in these universities.
