LAHORE, Nov 18: Pakistan will bid for hosting the AFC Under-14 Football Festival to be held from Jan 25 to 31.

A Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) spokesman said that the festival would be held on regional basis and each region would be divided into two zones, comprising six countries each.

In all, there will be eight regions of Asia, the spokesman said.

The second round will be held from March 5 to 11, but PFF will only bid for the first round, the spokesman said.

AFC will assist every host country with a grant of $25,000, besides giving $5,000 to every participating country.
