LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Wednesday sentenced a lawyer to three-year imprisonment for misbehaving with a former chief justice, Tassaduq Husain Jilani, when he was a judge of the Lahore High Court.
A case was registered against Advocate Muhammad Asghar in 1998 for misbehaving with the judge. The magistrate concluded the trial and also imposed a fine of Rs20,000 on the lawyer besides the jail term.
