Mercury dips

LAHORE, Nov 17: With the rain bringing city’s temperature further down on Monday, people thronged shops of first- and second-hand warm clothes.

Old Anarkali, Ichhra Bazaar, Lunda Bazaar and roadside stalls drew the main rush.

The Met forecast a partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm and rain for the Punjab, including the city, during the next 24 hours.

On Monday, the rain brought the city temperature down to a minimum of 13.7 C. Humidity remained high, adding to the chill. It was 98 per cent in the morning and 69 per cent in the evening.
