Robbers have a field day

LAHORE, Nov 17: Robbers on Monday struck nine times in different parts of the city and made off with cash, gold, vehicles and valuables.

Five gunmen stormed into the house of Muhammad Khan in Kahna and held up inmates. The intruders collected cash, gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs700,00 and escaped.

Three robbers burst into the house of Maqsood Ahmad in Block-A of Garden Town and made off with jewellery, valuables and cash worth Rs500,000.

Asad had just closed his shop in teh Ravi Road area when three gunmen held him up and took away Rs18,000 in cash and a cell phone.

Dilshad Hussain of A-Block of the Defence Housing Society told police that he along with his family was away when some thieves stole cash and valuables worth Rs150,000 from his house.

Two gunmen stormed into the house of Rafiq Ahmad in Burki and took away cash and valuables worth thousands of rupees and also drove away with a motorcycle (LRN-6219).

Another motorcycle (LXW-910) was driven away by two miscreants in Gulshan-i-Ravi and two more motorcycles (LOB-9183 and LXM-6877) were stolen from Sabzazar and South Cantonment. A car (LXN-712) was taken away from Gulberg.
