LAHORE: The PCB chairman said the ‘Big Three’ system will hopefully be dissolved after the next meeting of the International Cricket Council, which is going to be held in Dubai from Wednesday.

“I am going to attend the ICC meeting in which the main agenda is to terminate the Big Three formula and finalise a new set-up,” Shaharyar said.

The ICC in 2013 had decided to make three big countries — India, Australia and England — more powerful, having more share in the ICC’s earning, which caught lot of criticism from independent stakeholders of the game.

But the situation changed when new ICC chairman Shashank Manohar expressed displeasure over the system.

Shaharyar, meanwhile, said that the PCB had also prepared some suggestions to make the ICC system more stable with equal opportunities for all countries.
