Aisam qualifies for Futures final

LAHORE, Nov 15: Pakistan tennis star, Aisam ul Haq breezed past Oh Hee Kwon of Korea to enter the final of the ITF Futures International Tennis Championship in Thailand.

Aisam exhibited top class form for a eany victory. He won the first set 6-1 in just 20 minutes and took the second 6-4 in 30 minutes, said a facsimile message received on Saturday.

Aisam maintained an attaching game throughout the match and never allowed his opponent to get into any kind of rhythm. He made two errors in the first set and hit seven aces and ten winners. In the second set he fired another six aces and twelve winners.

His opponent in the final is face Herbert Witsching of Austria.—APP
