LARKANA, Nov 14: The management of Institute of Training and Education, Nawabshah, alleged that the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Larkana, has registered a bogus training college and allowed its students to appear in the examination.

Talking to this correspondent on Friday, Dr Mehboob Shaikh, director general, ITE, said that the BISE, Larkana, had awarded registration to King College of Teachers Training, Karampur, and allowed 156 candidates of the college to take the examination.

He said it was quite illegal as the college was not approved and registered with the ITE, Nawabshah, and added it was mandatory for the Boards to only allow the candidates of the college that had obtained approval and registration from the institute concerned.

PROMOTION: The Sindh High Court, Larkana circuit bench, asked the registrar of Agriculture University, Tandojam, to decide about the promotion of Dr Karam Hussain Wadho as assistant professor within two months after re-

ceiving a fresh application from him.

The syndicate of the university should decide about it within two months observing merit and under the relevant laws, the bench observed.

The division bench, comprising Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani and Justice Ali Aslam Jafri, heard the petition on Thursday when the university’s registrar, Nizamuddain Halepto, appeared before the court.
