Indian Air Force on show during President's Standard Presentation parade

JAMNAGAR: Indian President and Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces Pranab Mukherjee awarded the prestigious Presidential Colours to 28 Equipment depot and Presidential Standard to 119 Helicopter Unit during a ceremonial parade at Air Force Station Jamnagar.

The displays included an Advanced Light Helicopter Sarang team formation, an air warrior drill team performance and an Mi-17 V5 helicopter fly-past.

I have not seen such excellent coverage even in Indian magazine website. Such coverage credits Dawn as an impartial and most reader friendly magazine in the sub continent blurring the barriers making me feel as if we live in British India. An Indian who chances upon visiting Dawn website will never fail to visit the website daily. Bravo Dawn. No wonder why many many Indians view Dawn website regularly neglecting Indian websites. I wish Indian magazines cover Pakistan as Dawn does India.

i like the way pakistani media especially dawn news prefer journalism over nationalism,but indian media houses are still stuck in the in the philosophy of nationalism in this 21st century.how stories should be covered from different parts of the world especially neighbour countries,dawn is a best example for all newpaper
