Nakai’s secy held by NAB

LAHORE, Nov 10: Waris Wahla, who served as the private secretary to former chief minister Sardar Arif Nakai, has been arrested by the National Accountability Bureau on a charge of embezzlement. According to a NAB press release, Wahla had “played an active role” in the embezzlement of the chief minister’s discretionary grants to the tune of Rs11 million and abetted the “main accused”, Arif Nakai. —Correspondent
