HARIPUR, Nov 9: Three persons including a young boy were killed in two different incidents here on Sunday, police said.

According to family account of the first murder, one Maoj Ali, allegedly a notorious paedophile, shot dead Faizan Ali, 8, son of Mohammed Rafique, when he (the accused) failed to lure the boy into his trap, in village Mankrae, three kilometres from here.

The accused managed to escape from the scene, the police said.

In the second incident, Mohammed Ramzan and Shah Maqsood, both close relatives, were waiting for someone on the roadside near village Kailag when some unknown persons opened fire on them with klashnikov, killing the two on the spot, and fled.

The cause of these killings could not be known. No-one from the victims’ side had lodged an FIR till the filing of this report.
