Narrow victory

KARACHI Nov 8: Danish Sports registered a narrow 13-run victory over Saddar Town CC in the 8th Danish Trophy Ramazan cricket tournament played on Saturday at the KGA ground.

Danish Sports could only muster up 112 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the 20 allotted overs. Siraj Khan was the pick of the Saddar Town attack claiming four wickets for only 16 runs.

Saddar Town CC were bundled out for 99 runs in 19 overs. Habib Raj top scored with 22 runs. Kamran Kaiser and Aqeel Ahmed with three wickets apiece conceding only 12 runs, bowled their team to victory.

Sunday fixture: KGA Gymkhana v Khatri Sports.
