KARACHI: The organisers have received an enormous response for the fifth Rehana Nazar Rashidabad National Junior Squash Championship which begins at Rehana Nazar complex at TandoAllayar on Saturday, says an announcement.

As many as 99 players including girls have entered in the event which concludes on Feb 16, secretary of the Sindh Squash Association (SSA) Rashid Ahmed said on Friday.

According to the break-up, hosts Sindh has fielded 41 players followed by Punjab 19, PAF 18, Khyber Pakhtunkha 17, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL)and CHIPS two each and Balochistan one.

The event carries a total purse of Rs3,00,000.

The events that will take place include boys under-11, under-13, under-15, under-17 and under-19 while girls will compete in under 15 and under-19.

Accommodation will be provided to all the outstation players.
