LAHORE: The annual 13th Dawn Education Expo 2016 concluded at Faletti’s Hotel here on Wednesday.

Like the first day, a large number of students from different educational institutions visited the expo on the second and last day and got information about their careers at the desks of local and foreign institutions.

The representatives of the institutions had set up their desks at the expo, organised by Dawn Media Group, and responded to queries of the students and encouraged them to pursue their higher education dream with vigor.

Leading international and local universities, colleges and higher education institutes from the UK, Australia, Malaysia, Turkey, the UAE, the USA, Germany, Belgium, Dubai, Canada and North Cyprus participated in the Dawn Education Expo.

This is the largest education expo of Pakistan which aims to help institutes of higher learning reach a national cross section of students who have the qualifications and means to pursue education at home or abroad.

“We are fascinated by the response of students. They are keen to know how they could get scholarships to pursue their studies abroad,” said Aydan Tuzluk, a representative of a foreign university. She said such an activity should be held on a regular basis to educate students about new degree programmes and disciplines around the globe.

The exhibition after travelling from Karachi and Lahore will now be held in Islamabad on Feb 13 and 14.
