LAHORE, Nov 7: Kuwait is interested in making heavy investment in the housing sector in the Punjab and has agreed to form a joint working group and sending a business delegation to Pakistan for the purpose.

Punjab Housing Minister Syed Raza Ali Gilani said this while talking about the outcome of his visit to Kuwait for informing the Royal Family representatives and business groups about investment opportunities in the housing sector.

He said the Kuwaitis had shown keen interest in investment in housing projects in the Punjab to start with and other areas of the country later on.

Mr Gilani said that Kuwait’s Rafai Group of Industries managing director had decided to send a delegation to Pakistan for further discussion after he was informed him about the investment opportunities in the housing sector.

Al-Hamid Drilling Company Managing Director Hamid Al-Hamid also expressed interest in investment in the housing sector.
