DERA MURAD JAMALI: The stage is set for the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) first public meeting in Dera Murad Jamali, where the party’s chairman, Imran Khan, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind and other senior leaders will address the gathering at a football ground on Sunday.

Sardar Rind, the party’s provincial organiser, said on Saturday night that around 20,000 chairs had been placed at the venue. He went on to claim that over 50,000 will attend the rally.

“It will be a historic public meeting of the PTI in Dera Murad Jamali,” he said, adding that PTI needs people to extend their support to the party instead of heavy weights. He said that convoys of people were reaching the district from different areas of Balochistan to attend the public meeting.

The local administration has made strict security arrangements for the day.
