Man killed in road accident

ISLAMABAD, Nov 7: A person was killed after being hit by a motorcycle on Kashmir Highway on Friday, the police said.

The deceased, 22-year-old Sajjad Ahmed, was on his way home when the motorcycle (RIX-6333) driven by Azhar Iqbal hit him. The injured died before reaching Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.

The body of the deceased had been handed over to Mr Ahmed’s relative after autopsy.

Meanwhile, Zahid Hussain, 40, was injured when a speeding vehicle hit him at Blue Area while he was crossing the road.
