LAHORE: The Pakistan Handball Federation has announced men and women squads for the 12th South Asian Games being held in Guwahati and Shillong, India from Feb 5 to 16.

Pakistan men’s team are placed in pool ‘A’ alongside Nepal and Afghanistan, while India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka form pool ‘B’.

Pakistan will play their first match against Afghanistan on Feb 10.

Pakistan women’s team are in pool ‘B’ with Bangladesh, Afghanistan and the Maldives. The pool ‘A’ contains India, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Tahir Ali (captain), Mohammad Shahid Pervaiz, (vice-captain), Mohammad Uzair Atif, Asif Ali, Mohammad Usman Anjum, Mohammad Zubair, Mohammad Mobeen Ashraf, Zakir Hussain, Imran Khan, Shahzad Tariq, Asim Saeed, Khurram Shahzad, Hazrat Hussian, Asif Hayat.
