KARACHI, Dec 28: Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro on Friday evening hosted a Christmas reception at the Governor House.

The reception was attended by Karachi-based diplomats besides members of the Christian community invited from all over the province.

The governor felicitated them on Christmas and New Year and cut a cake.

Talking to the participants, the governor said that the minorities living in Sindh enjoy all possible protection, and full attention was being paid on their welfare.

The governor said that the minorities are given representation in the local government system and they are working together for the solution of problems of their respective areas and welfare of the people.—APP
