LAHORE: Speakers at a seminar on Monday emphasised the need for promoting familiarisation of the Competition Law and improving the current state of affairs in Pakistan.

They urged the Competition Commission of Pakistan to play its role for the resolution of competition issues with the help of business community.

The seminar was held as part of the national road show on competition law by the CCP at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. CCP Member Shahzad Ansar informed that the CCP had successfully held seminars in around 20 cities and in the last round, seminars were being organised in Punjab.

He said that the CCP would remain in touch with the chambers of commerce through the focal persons who would help assist CCP in resolving the competition issues being faced by the business community.
