Workshop on dams

LAHORE, Nov 5: A one-day workshop on sustainable investment in water sector infrastructure projects will be arranged here on Nov 11 by the World Conservation Union (IUCN) and the Pakistan Water Partnership.

The initiative has been taken under the World Commission on Dams’ (WCD) Consultative Process Project being implemented by the IUCN through the financial support of the Netherlands Embassy.

The project is aimed at generating recommendations for policy reforms by analysing, reviewing and studying the dams and development report of the WCD. — APP
