JACOBABAD, Nov 5: A woman, Sikandar Khatoon, was shot dead by armed men when she was alone at home in Nasir Khan village, Jafarabad district, on Wednesday.
The police have registered a case against unknown assailants.
INJURED: A man and his son were injured by fifteen armed men in the jurisdiction of Bahoo Khoso police station, Thul taluka on Tuesday.
The armed men had come to Gulsher Jakhrani village to kidnap Mohammad Bachal Jakhrani where they met with resistance by his father, Bahgio Khan. On this the dacoits opened fire, injuring both of them. They fled when villagers retaliated with fire.
