HEC condemns assault

ISLAMABAD: The High­­er Education Commis­sion (HEC) has condemned the terrorist attack on Bacha Khan University Charsadda and announced three days of mourning.

“The innocent people, martyred and injured including students, teachers and other staff members, are in our thoughts,” read a statement issued by the HEC.

It said the commission would observe three days of mourning in its Islamabad headquarters and regional offices to express solidarity with grieving families.
