LAHORE: Veteran wrestler Bashir Bhola Bhala Pehlwan of Lahore wasted no time in flattening Arif Pehlwan of Bhakkar in the title fight of Rustam-e-Zaman Gama Pehlwan Dangal here at Punjab Stadium on Saturday.

Chief guest Mohsin Latif awarded the mace of Rustam-e-Zaman to the winner.

Sports Board Punjab director general Usman Anwar, who organised the back-to-back title bouts, congratulated Bashir and Umair Pehlwan for winning Rustam-e-Zaman Gama Pehlwan and Sher-e-Punjab Dangal titles, respectively.

Bashir is also a former Rustam-e-Pakistan and has represented Pakistan at several international competitions.
