An exhibition of rare posters, postcards, photos and booklets from the personal archives of collector Guddu, depicting different periods in the history of Pakistani films, drew art lovers to the French Embassy in Islamabad a few weeks back.
Due to the terrorist attack in Paris, the show was not open to the public. But a good number of foreign dignitaries, including the Swiss Ambassador Marc George, representing different consulates made the three-day exhibition an event to remember.
Guddu is now laying the final touches to display his collection next month (February) in Karachi.
