LAHORE: Eight-goal rally by Hissam Ali Hyder helped Master Paints thrash Barry’s 12-4 in a Master Paints Polo Cup match here on Friday.

Hissam was the hero of the day as he played exceptional polo and kept on scoring the goals in all the four chukkers.

Eight goals were the highest scored by a player this season.

Hissam was ably assisted by Shehryar Bukhari, who slammed three goals and Sufi M Haroon who hit one.

For Barry’s, who had two goals handicap advantage, Hashim Kamal Agha scored two goals.

Raja Taimur Nadeem excelled in Elan’s 6-4 triumph over Polo ‘d’ Sufi.

Taimur once again proved his mettle and slammed five goals while Emran Akhtar had one. For the losing side, Ahmed Ali Tiwana, Fateh Mehmood, Abdul Rehman Monno and Sufi M Farooq had one goal each.
