Isn't this industry a tad too overexposed, if they have a fashion 'week' so frequently? How can a designer have a 'collection' or seasonal line of clothes every week?

Pardon me but why most of the models have dark complexion?

Can we correlate fashion to our society. Following other nations blindly can lead us to nowhere

All look nice and it is nice to see Pak moving in the right direction of secularism and Westernization. However, here is my problem, we have been on this path before and we all know the results. Westernization is a welcome sign, however, without strengthening of the laws and their enforcement as they are in the Western world we are walking a dangerous path. I can see all the rich and powerful looking at these models (female) with oogling eyes and before you know there will be kidnappings and rapes. Freedom of press is a welcome sign but the strengthening and enforcement of laws is a must. Police needs to be depoliticize so that it protects the law instead of rich and powerful. It's voting time so let's make a difference and vote out the corrupt....

Seem to be designed for Karachi winters. Not for Lahore winters.

@NS how in the world "westernisation is a welcome sign" for Pakistan. We have our own roots, culture and traditions and so should be reflected and cherished in our fashion, lifestyle and behavioural conduct.

@NS With due respect , Your statement starts from welcoming westernization then you denounce it and at the end you conclude by campaigning for voting out the corrupts. I mean whats the point?

@NS I am not against western civilization but Pakistanis should be proud of their heritage and culture. Copying westerners in every aspect of social structure is wrong and counter productive.

@wshaikh ...this is not western you should have seen pakistan in 60s and 70s this fashion is brought back from that era.

Only .00001% of Pakistani population wears these clothes and all of them are present on the catwalk.

@Shah Sahab Because dark complexion is pretty. After being ruled by the British for over 150 years, Pakistanis like you have been brainwashed into thinking that only white skin is beautiful. Go to the west and see what women do over their to get themselves looking dark.

The developing world's obsession with western culture would eventually take the world to a uni-culture, whereby the whole world would be following Western culture, and i am sure that world would be too boring to live in, lucky us enjoying all this variety
