KARACHI, Oct 29: The PML-Q Convener of Organizing Committee, Nisar Memon, has called upon people to cooperate and strengthen the local government system.

Mr Nisar was addressing an Iftar party hosted in his honour in North Karachi, which was attended by a good number of party workers. Among other PML leaders, Capt (retd) Haleem Siddiqui, Sahibzada Muneer Ahmed, Raja Shahab, Naseem Farooq, Sardar Muhammad Iqbal, Sohail Siddiqui and Anwar Baloch were present on the occasion.

He said the ministers, advisers and other senior officials of the party sit at PML House daily to redress public grievances. The re-organization of PML in Sindh, he said, had been done to a great extent. The organizing committee would submit its three-month progress report to Mr Shujaat in November, he added. —APP
