KARACHI, Oct 29: Adviser to chief minister on home affairs Aftab Shaikh has ordered immediate suspension and departmental action against SI Manzoor, ASI Faisal Jat, constable Moin of PS Model Colony and Constable Aijaz of PS Sharafi Goth.
The action was taken by the advisor on a complaint by a woman who stated that the policemen were interfering in their domestic problem, harassing them and had lodged a fake FIR against them.
The advisor, taking action on the complaint, conducted an initial inquiry and ordered the TPO Malir, Altaf Leghari, and TPO Landhi Latif Siddiqui to suspend the said policemen.—PPI
