DERA MURAD JAMALI: President of Pakistan People’s Party, Balochistan, Mir Sadiq Ali Umrani has said that PPP has always struggled for democracy and never compromised over it.

Addressing a public meeting here on Friday, he said that general elections in 2013 were unfair but PPP accepted the results to block the way of undemocratic forces which were planning to derail the democratic system.

Many people belonging to different tribes led by Ghaus Bakhsh Abro, Khadim Hussain Abro, Muhammad Shaban Abro, Saifullah Manjho, Wali Muhammad Hambi, Bahadur Khan Mengal, Ehsanullah and Abdullah Abro joined the PPP on the occasion.

They reposed confidence in the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Mir Sadiq Ali Umrani and said that PPP was the only party which could resolve the problems facing the people. He said the PML-N government had failed to resolve the issue of loadshedding that it had promised to overcome within six months.

He said it was the PPP which had opposed the sit-in of the PTI and extended support to PML-N government in the larger interest of democracy.

The district president of PPP Nasirabad, Muhammad Dawood Khan Umrani, Dr Ahmed Hussain Pandrani, Muhammad Shaban Abro and others also spoke on the occasion.
