LAHORE: Punjab College with 1,936 points won the first position in the sixth Inter School and Collegiate Games for men which concluded at the Punjab Stadium here on Friday.

Government College Lahore with 883 points grabbed the second position while Superior College with 640 points was third.

City School Gurumangate took the fourth position with 326 points while Government Islamia College Civil Lines remained fifth with 224 points.

In the women section, Lahore College University annexed the overall trophy with 1,593 points while Kinnaird College seized the second spot with 772 points.

They were followed by Government Islamia College Lahore Cantt, Government Fatima Jinnah College Chuna Mandi and DHA Education System in the same order.

In the school section for boys, DPS Model Town lifted the overall trophy with 1,147 points while City School Gurumangate remained second with 699 points.

Don Basco English Medium School got third position with 290 points while Bahria School finished at the fourth slot with 210 points. DPS Township School took fifth slot with 200 points.

In the girls’ section, Adbistan Soophia School got the first position with 648 points while Beaconhouse Liberty won the second spot with 427 points.

City School Gurumangate remained third with 232 points and S.H. Convent School got the fourth spot with 291 points.

On the last day, the final of the inter-school football was played at the Bahria Town which won by City School Gurumangate defeating DPS Model Town 2-1.

Prizes were distributed among the participants at the Punjab Stadium in a grand closing ceremony.
