Tariq scoops golf title

TAXILA, Oct 22: Tariq Mahmood won the amateur title of All-Pakistan Fatima Jinnah Golf Championship on Wednesday.

On the second day amateurs competitions were held in which as many as 12 players from all over the country participated.

Tariq carded a 71 in gross competition to claim the title Waqas Ahmed scored 75 and stood second while Taimur Hassan finished thired.

In net competition Abbas Hussain Mirza scored 79 in which six Handicap are also included to emerge winner. Anwaarul Haq took second spot having a eight handicap.

Ladies amateure competition would be held on Thursday in which a large number of ladies from all over the country are participating.
