Man sentenced to death in honour killing case

NAWABSHAH: A man who was found guilty of killing his daughter last year was sentenced to death by a court here on Tuesday.

Allah Dino Loond was booked for killing his daughter, Ms Shahzadi, on March 30, 2014 in the name of honour.

Second Additional Sessions Judge Jalaluddin Soomro heard arguments by the prosecution and defence sides during the trial and pronounced his judgement on Tuesday.

The judge observed that the charges against the accused stood proved beyond a shadow of a doubt.

The convict was sent to jail.
