TAXILA: The Malaysian army chief, General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi, on Tuesday visited Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Wah Cantonment.

He was impressed by the quality and standard of the arms and ammunition produced by the POF.

On his arrival at the POF, he was received by POF Chief-Lt Gen Omar Mahmood Hayat.

The Malaysian defence delegation also attended a briefing in which working capacity of this premier defence organization was elaborated.

Speaking on the occasion, the Malaysian army chief stressed the need of enhancing cooperation in the field of defence.

The POF Chief stated that Pakistan and Malaysia were enjoying deep rooted defence ties for long which needed to be strengthened.

Later the delegation also visited the display room where they evinced interest in POF products and ammunition and lauded the high quality of POF products.
