LAHORE: The Lahore Regional Cricket Association (LRCA) has decided to hold reception to honour Lahore Whites U-19 squad for achieving second position in the recently concluded National U-19 One-day Championship.

A prize distribution ceremony in this regard will be held during the last week of October after the ongoing national U-19 three-day championship.

LRCA president Khawaja Nadeem said the ceremony will encourage the players to further improve their performance.

The key performers for the region in this event were Mohammad Amir (who scored 282 runs averaging 47.00), Gohar Hafeez (289, 32.11), Ali Zaryab Asif (264, 37.11, 10 wickets), Salman Fayyaz (19 wickets), Ahmed Shafiq (18) and Ghulam Murtaza (15).

All these players will be given special performance awards along with cash prizes.
