PBSA lodges protest with IBSF

KARACHI, Oct 19: Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Federation (PBSA) has lodged an official protest with International Billiards and Snooker Association (IBSA) for including 12 chinese and three Indian players in the ongoing world championship in Jiang ming city.

PBSA President Ali Asghar Valika, has sent a written protest to IBSF Secretary General Linda Hartog which will be delivered through Pakistan delegate Yousuf Suleman.

PBSA Chief has pointed that as per the IBSF rules, two players from any country cannot be drawn in one pool which he said was clear violation of the rules.

Moreover, he said, that except for defending champion no other country can enter three cueists as per the laid rules.

Three Indian players are currently taking part in the world championship.—APP
