PESHAWAR, Oct 19: The Tajazai grid station in Lakki Marwat district has been included in the upgradation list of the grid stations prepared for the southern districts of the province by the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco).

The Tajazai grid station will be upgraded to 132kv from 66kv with two other grid stations in the district by Pesco.

This was stated by Lakki Marwat district Nazim Humayun Saifullah Khan while talking to elders and union council Nazims in Lakki city on Sunday.

He said the district government of Lakki Marwat was thankful to the Pesco chief executive for inclusion of the Tajazai grid station in the upgradation plan.

The district Nazim said he had suggested to the Pesco chief executive to upgrade the Darra Pezu grid station as well besides establishing a separate 132kv grid station for Lakki city.

He further said that the work on laying of 220 LT Domel line was in full swing and was expected to be completed by the end of the year which would address electricity-related problems of Sarai Naurang, Bannu and Pezu areas.—APP
