ISLAMABAD, Oct 18: A delegation of the officers of the Command and Staff college Quetta visited the ministry of defence here on Saturday.

According to a press release, the officers who are currently undertaking command & staff course and the faculty members of the college were warmly received on arrival in the ministry.

They were given detailed briefing on the Mission Statement, Organizational structure, Role & Functions, Attached Departments and Defence Cooperation with other countries by Additional Secretary Air Vice Marshal Maqbool Ali Shah.

Later, Secretary Defence Lt-Gen Hamid Nawaz Khan (retired) had an interactive session with the participants of the Course and answered the questions raised by the officers on defence related issues.

The secretary congratulated the officers on their selection by this prestigious Institution and hoped that the training received here would further polish their abilities.
