SILICON VALLEY: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Facebook headquarters in Silicon Valley on September 27, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced on Sunday.

"I'm excited to announce that Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India will be visiting Facebook HQ later this month for a Townhall Q&A," the post to his official Facebook page said.

The Indian premier and Facebook Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be meeting to discuss "how communities can work together to address social and economic challenges", Zuckerberg said.

PM Modi tweeted about the visit, thanking Zuckerberg for his invitation.

Both Zuckerberg and Modi invited the public to participate by asking the Indian premier questions.

"We want to hear your questions. Please ask them in the comments below and we'll try to get to as many as possible," Zuckerberg said.
