Rangers operation

Published September 2, 2015

AS a citizen of this city, I would like to thank the Rangers and, by extension, the military for having brought a semblance of peace and tranquility to Karachi.

In my opinion, as the government seems to have absolved itself of its primary responsibility of protecting the life and property of citizens, there was probably no other option except to launch the operation against criminals who had held the city hostage for far too long.

I hope and pray that the operation is taken to its logical conclusion and the writ of the government is restored so that Karachi once again becomes the city of lights and laughter.
