KARACHI: Naimat signs deal in China

KARACHI Oct 16: An agreement has been signed between city government and the city government of Wahai, China, under which joint measures would be taken for the economic progress and social welfare of the two cities.

City Nazim Naimatullah Khan signed the agreement on Wednesday (Oct 15) in Wahai with Mayor of the Chinese city Wahai Song Youn Fang.

The agreement envisages exchange of information between the two city governments to promote public transparent system besides joint measures to promote investment and give a boost to economic activities in both cities.

Practical steps would be taken also for the promotion of culture and tourism.

Mr Khan is in China to participate in the International Mayors Conference.—PPI
