SIALKOT, Oct 14: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) will soon computerize birth and death record.

This was stated here on Tuesday by Nadra chairman Brig Salim Moeen after visiting district offices and Swift Registration Centre.

He said Sialkot would be the second district after Lahore in the country where this facility would be provided.

Earlier, the Nadra chief listened to the public complaints and issued orders for their early solution.

MANZOOR CHINIOTI: Central leader of Majlis Tahafuz Khatam-i-Nubuwat and former MPA Maulana Manzoor Ahmad Chinioti has urged the government to take the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) into confidence over the India-Israel relations and signing of arms sale deal by them.

The Maulana was speaking at the annual meeting of Darul Aloom Madnia, Daska Kalan, on Monday night.

He said it was time for the Ummat to forge unity against the anti-Islam forces. He urged the OIC to act instead of looking at the US for the resolution of problems being faced by the Ummat.

He regretted that none of the Islamic countries opposed the US invasion of Iraq and destruction of Afghanistan on the flimsy ground of fight against terrorism.

He said the US and Israel have been killing innocent Muslims in Iraq and Palestine respectively but no Islamic country ever raised its voice against their brutality.

Maulana Chinioti urged the government to check the activities of Qadianis in the country.

Naib amir of JUI (Samiul Haq) Maulana Feroze Khan also attended the meeting.
