LAHORE: Punjab Food Authority (PFA) teams sealed on Tuesday 18 food outlets for cleanliness and hygiene issues in Lahore.

According to a spokesperson, a PFA team in Data Ganj Bakhsh Town sealed Tabaq restaurant on Abbot Road and Al-Masoom Juice Corner on Katcha Ravi Road. It also sealed Akbar Paan Shop and fined Muhammadi Nihari at Mozang Chungi.

The Gulberg Town team sealed Chrisco Bakers and Jhoolay Laal Fish Corner in Garhi Shahu and Geo Bilal Juice Corner and fined Fri Chicks and Coffee and Tea Company on Allam Iqbal Road.

In Ravi Town, the team sealed MashaAllah Al-Kashmir Hotel, Mardan Hotel, Haji Hotel, Hafiz Sweets Lal Khu, Jhoolay Lal Pan Shop, Javaid Cold Drinks Corner, Ali Pan Shop and Data Cold Drinks Corner at Lorry Adda.

Iqbal Town, Dera Fazal-i-Haq in Bahria Town, Ishaq Sweets and Bismillah Hotel were sealed while the canteen of the Sharif Medical City was fined.

In Samanabad Town, the team sealed Irfan Naan Shop and fined Baba Jalal Din Mutton Chanay on Poonch Road.

The Nishtar Town team sealed Doce Bakers in Yuhanabad and imposed a fine on Butt Hotel in Kotlakhpat. PFA officials in Shalimar Town sealed Tahir Sweets on Ghoray Shah Road and imposed a fine on Big Bite Ice Cream outlet. In Wahga Town, Chaman Ice Cream on Daroghawala Road was fined.
