SHIKARPUR: Journalists hold demo

SHIKARPUR, Oct 14: Journalists held a demonstration in Garhi Yasin on Tuesday to protest against the delay in arresting the killers of a journalist, Amir Bux Brohi.

The demonstration was held on the call of the district journalists’ coordination committee.

Agha Sirajuddin Durrani, PPP, Syed Aziz Ahmed Shah Amroti, SNF, and Mohammad Qasim Pathan, president, Mehran Teachers Association, Sindh, expressed solidarity with the journalists by participating in the protest.

The journalists also held a protest demonstration in front of the office of the TPO, Garhi Yasin, and blocked Garhi Yasin-Shikarpur road for an hour.
