LAHORE, Oct 13: Customs anti-smuggling squad on Monday seized smuggled cloth, household appliances and betelnut worth Rs7.5 million.

Former hockey star and anti-smuggling squad superintendent Tauqeer Dar said the merchandize was recovered from a coach (RPT-6325) coming from Peshawar at the Ravi toll plaza.

He said a team, led by deputy superintendent Saeed Akhtar Joiya, confiscated the goods after arresting the two people.

A case has been registered against them.—APP
