KARACHI, Oct 13: Six ships including rice loader and with coal and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where two ships, Ocean Genius to unload and load containers and Ya Hai to offload DAP fertilizer were berthed after the departure of four.

The ships, which sailed out, were led by Kota Tegap, Al-Batros, Phenix and M.T. Eland, while Min He, Iwato and Orient Stride are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was light as the total tonnage fell to 35,549 tons comprising 8,530 tons of export cargo and 27,019 tons of import.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Zaid, to load 4,200 tons of rice, Portoroz, with 39,503 tons of coal, Mercs Mirissa, Eax Sanctity, Dubai, and Westerland, with containers.
