Ashraf slams century

KARACHI, Oct 12: Ashraf Ali scored a defiant century as the PCB Inter-district Senior Cricket Tournament match between Zone-V and Zone-II ended in a predictable draw on Sunday.

Ashraf hit 14 boundaries in scoring 102 as Zone-V made 264 in response to Zone-II’s first innings total of 330 on the second and final day of the game at the TMC Ground.

Off-spinner Shahmir Khattak captured five for 58 in 30.2 overs.

The remaining two matches of the Karachi region in this meaningless tournament were also drawn.
