Noor takes first stage

HYDERABAD, Oct 11: Noor Alam of Pakistan Railways clinched first position in the first leg of Tour-de-Pakistan Cycle Race here Saturday.

Noor covered the distance from Mazar-e-Quaid Karachi to Hyderabad Toll Plaza in four hours and four minutes.

Pakistan Army’s Sakhawat Ali and Zafar of Pakistan Railways secured second and third positions in the first leg.

Dilsher Khan and Haroon Ahmed of Wapda and Muhammed Asif of Pakistan Railways have finished with fourth, fifth and sixth positions.

Warm welcome was accorded when all 63 participants of Tour-de-Pakistan Cycle Race arrived at Hyderabad Toll Plaza.

The EDO, Community Development Hyderabad and officers of the District Sports Office have received the participants on behalf of the District Government.—APP
