THERE is a need for introspection in the PTI if Imran Khan wishes to remain in politics and wants his party to be a government-in-waiting. Mr Khan must also sift friend from foe. Kudos to the prime minister for showing magnanimity and not allowing the deseating of PTI legislators.

We hope and pray for the betterment of our motherland and that lessons should be learned by both sides. As a nation we already have enough on our plate and no party or government can singlehandedly solve the magnitude of problems we face.

Today’s opposition can be tomorrow’s government. It should think before making tall promises to the people.
